What is 'Hyggelig'

Hyggelig pronounced 'hue-geh-ly' is a Norwegian and Danish adjective for finding comfort, pleasure and enjoyment. It's that cosy, snug, homely feeling. This is what the Hyggelig Store and our hand-selected collection embody.

Who we are

The Hyggelig Store was conceived from seeing the imagination of our daughter grow; observing how her toys and surroundings sparked and ignited her fascination.

Helping to spark this feeling is something we as a family are passionate about. This leads us to the inspiration for the Hyggelig Store, a place where you can share our passion for design inspired, quality and conscious products that will be loved for years to come.
